Submission Guidelines

If you would like to submit a proposal or manuscript, please first email a query letter to query@elizabethkaplanlit.com. Please do not send attachments, but for fiction you may include the first ten pages pasted in the body of your email. We regret that we can only reply to those queries in which we are interested.

*We welcome new authors in the areas of narrative and practical nonfiction, biography, history, memoir, pop culture, literary fiction, young adult and middle grade fiction, and upmarket women's fiction. We do not represent screenplays, poetry, science fiction, or fantasy.
